About My Clients

My clients are individuals who feel overwhelmed by their thoughts, emotions, or behaviors and notice the impact on their overall well-being. Many are looking for a space where they can speak openly without fear of shame, judgment, or criticism. They want to better understand themselves, build insight into their patterns, and develop practical coping skills that foster resilience and adaptability to manage life's unpredictable stressors.

My Background and Approach

I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and have been practicing as a therapist for two years, working with a diverse caseload ranging in age from 6 to 70. I have experience supporting clients navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, personality disorders, low self-esteem, and impulsivity. My approach is person-centered and nonjudgmental, with treatment tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. Because every individual is different, I utilize an eclectic approach, integrating multiple therapeutic modalities to best support each client. I also incorporate psychodynamic principles, recognizing how past experiences can shape present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I work collaboratively with clients to explore underlying factors contributing to their concerns and to develop coping strategies that are realistic, effective, and aligned with their overall well-being.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I strongly believe that every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion, regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs. I am deeply committed to creating an inclusive and affirming space where clients feel safe, valued, and truly heard. My commitment to inclusivity extends beyond the therapy room. I actively engage in ongoing education, stay informed on current research, and reflect on my own biases to ensure I am providing culturally responsive care. I believe in advocating for marginalized communities and supporting efforts that empower individuals whose voices have historically been overlooked. My goal is not only to support clients in their personal growth, but also to contribute to a broader culture of understanding, equity, and respect.
