I work with children and teens with ADHD and support parents in better understanding how their child’s brain works. My approach is neuro-affirming and focuses on emotional regulation, reducing shame, and strengthening connection. Rather than compliance-based strategies, I help families build systems and supports that increase cooperation, confidence, and day-to-day functioning at home and school.

I work closely with parents who feel overwhelmed, unsure how to help, or stuck in unhelpful cycles at home. I offer practical guidance, psychoeducation, and evidence-based approaches like SPACE to help parents support their child’s emotional growth while increasing calm, connection, and confidence in their parenting decisions.

I help children and teens struggling with anxiety learn to understand their worry and respond to it with more flexibility and confidence. I use developmentally appropriate, evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, play-based work, and exposure strategies. Parent involvement is often included to reduce accommodation and support long-term progress beyond the therapy room.

I’m trained in Child-Centered Play Therapy and use play as a child’s natural language for expression and healing. Through non-directive play, children can explore emotions, experiences, and relationships in a way that feels safe and engaging. Play therapy allows children to process what they may not yet have words for while building emotional regulation and self-understanding.

I use CBT to help children and teens understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My approach emphasizes skill-building and practical tools while remaining flexible and developmentally appropriate. CBT is often used alongside other approaches to help clients manage anxiety, build coping strategies, and feel more confident responding to challenges at school and home.

I use ACT to help children and teens develop flexibility with anxious thoughts and big emotions rather than getting stuck fighting them. ACT supports clients in noticing what shows up internally while still moving toward what matters to them. This approach is especially helpful for anxiety, emotional reactivity, and perfectionism, and pairs well with developmentally appropriate language and play-based work.
