About My Clients
I work with children (ages 5+), teens, and parents who are navigating anxiety, ADHD, OCD-related concerns, and emotional regulation challenges. Many parents come to therapy feeling overwhelmed or unsure how to help without escalating things at home. The kids and teens I work with often feel stuck in worry, frustration, or big emotions. My clients are looking for support that feels understanding, practical, and grounded - not rushed or judgmental.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who works with children, teens, and parents using a collaborative, individualized approach. I focus on supporting both the child and the family system, not just managing behaviors. With younger children, I use Child-Centered Play Therapy to help them explore emotions in a safe, natural way. With older children and teens, I integrate evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, and exposure-based strategies to reduce anxiety and build confidence. Parent involvement is often central to the work. I use the SPACE approach for childhood anxiety and OCD and offer neuro-affirming guidance for parents of children with ADHD, with an emphasis on connection, regulation, and sustainable change. My goal is to create a therapeutic space that feels calm, supportive, and genuinely human.
