Assisting clients in identifying that which they find to be personally meaningful in their lives and taking steps to achieve it is an area of focus. Emphasis is placed on helping clients recognize their choices. This framework is applied through the lens of recognition that some experiences are part of the overall human condition.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is offered to address a number of unproductive habits and psychological disorders. In CBT, an emphasis is placed on identifying and changing thoughts and behaviors that keep you feeling stuck. This approach has been supported by research and is effective for the treatment of depression, anxiety, and posttraumatic stress, disorders. Techniques for thinking in ways that lead to mental health improvement are offered.

The role of early life relationships and their impact on client personality and problem development are considered. The myriad of ways in which early life relationship patterns may be repeated in adult interactions with others are also explored and revealed.
