About My Clients
Guiding you through the exciting and uncomfortable times of therapy, it is my duty as a counselor to ensure you feel accepted and never judged, while you navigate your journey. I use a collaborative approach to ensure you feel that you are not in the journey alone and have the support that is needed. It is hoped that the client’s experience will lead them to their own discoveries with my guidance, when needed, along the way.
My Background and Approach
I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida. I earned my master’s degree in 2020 and my undergraduate degree in Psychology from University of South Florida in 2017. My estimated date of licensure is August 2022, where I will continue to build my approach of collaboration and person-centered therapy. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when working with clients who struggle with negative thinking patterns. This is done by identifying negative thoughts and working with the client to reframe them.
