About My Clients
Are you struggling with constant worries about the future? Feeling stuck, lost, or hopeless? I work with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship/family issues, identity development (race, sexuality, gender, religion, etc.), and women’s issues. I have specialized in working with trauma, college students, and military-connected people. I have 9 years of training and therapy experience with individuals across the lifespan (ages 4-65).
My Background and Approach
If using insurance, scroll down and click “Online Scheduling” which allows you to directly schedule a phone consultation and appointment with me through Headway. For self-pay/private pay, please call or email me. I help people strengthen the relationships with themselves and others, and gain effective coping skills to manage unwanted emotions. We will work together at a pace that fits you while challenging patterns that no longer serve you. I use a variety of strategies to meet the unique needs of each person drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, expressive arts therapy, CBT, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed and interpersonal approaches. We will start by building the therapy relationship, exploring what brought you to therapy, and creating short-term and/or long-term therapy goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I support human rights, civil rights, wholeness, and liberation for ALL of humanity. For these reasons, I support causes that seek to eliminate the oppression of various cultural groups including Black and Brown people, the LGBTQIA+ community, the global majority, disabled persons, neurodivergent persons, religious minorities, immigrants, and more.
