About My Clients
I work best with adults seeking thoughtful, affirming psychiatric care—especially those who have felt overlooked or misunderstood in traditional settings. I commonly support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, and major life transitions. I also specialize in reproductive mental health, including fertility challenges, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, and postpartum concerns. My clients value a collaborative approach and want care that honors both their experience
My Background and Approach
I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist and the founder of EverCentered Psychiatry and Consulting. I earned my MD from Georgetown University and completed my psychiatry residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I am double board-certified in general psychiatry and addiction medicine, with additional expertise in substance use disorders and reproductive mental health. My approach is patient-centered, collaborative, and evidence-based. I prioritize listening first—taking time to understand each person’s history, values, and goals before making recommendations. When medication is part of treatment, I focus on the least invasive and lowest effective dose, always weighing benefits carefully. I partner closely with my patients to develop personalized plans that support both symptom relief and overall quality of life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe mental health care should be accessible, affirming, and free from stigma. I am deeply committed to providing respectful, inclusive care—particularly for individuals who have felt marginalized in healthcare settings. I value autonomy, collaboration, and transparency, and I strive to create a space where patients feel truly heard and empowered. I am especially passionate about reproductive mental health and advocating for compassionate, informed care during vulnerable life stages. At the core of my work is a belief that healing begins with being seen, understood, and supported as a whole person.
