About My Clients
Maybe you’re overthinking everything, struggling to communicate without conflict, questioning who you are, or simply realizing that the ways you’ve always coped aren’t working anymore. I work with teens, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, relationships, identity, self-esteem, family dynamics, and major life transitions. I especially enjoy supporting LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients in building a life and relationships that feel more authentic and fulfilling.
My Background and Approach
Originally from California, I now happily call Austin, Texas home. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of the Incarnate Word and my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary’s University, where I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision with a concentration in Neurofeedback Therapy. My experience spans nonprofit organizations, private practice, and correctional settings, working with clients from ages 4 to 90. My approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based, primarily utilizing CBT while integrating other approaches to fit your unique needs and goals. I don’t believe therapy is one-size-fits-all—or that my role is to tell you how to live your life. Instead, we’ll work together to understand what may be keeping you stuck, build practical tools, and create meaningful change. Above all, I strive to provide a space where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and empowered to live mor
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves a space where they can show up fully and authentically without fear of judgment. Inclusivity, compassion, curiosity, and respect are values I bring not only into the therapy room, but into the way I move through the world. I am passionate about LGBTQ+ affirming care and creating spaces where people of all identities, backgrounds, relationships, and family structures feel seen, respected, and celebrated. I also value neurodiversity-affirming care and believe our differences should be understood rather than automatically treated as something that needs to be “fixed.” At my core, I believe in meeting people where they are, honoring their lived experiences, and empowering them to define what a meaningful and fulfilling life looks like for themselves.
