I believe that the key to successful therapy is the relationship between the therapist and client. Using a client-centered approach, I embody an empathetic, non-judgmental, and trustworthy stance with the goal of creating a safe and supportive environment to explore new insights, strengths, and areas of growth. For me, it is a privilege to be allowed to listen to someone’s story and witness their journey towards self-healing.
My Background and Approach
I use an integrative approach to therapy that draws from cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, solution-focused, and mindfulness meditation. I have special interest in issues related to depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, sexual trauma, and emotional dysregulation.
