About My Clients
I specialize in supporting women navigating life transitions—career changes, motherhood, perimenopause, menopause, and self-discovery. My ideal clients are seeking clarity, connection, and confidence as they move through overwhelming or uncertain seasons. I offer a warm, inclusive space for women to explore their experiences, manage anxiety or stress, and reconnect with their strengths. Therapy is offered in English and Spanish.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in Maryland, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and I hold a Master’s in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. Before becoming a therapist, I spent 15 years in business and leadership—experience that helps me deeply understand the stress of balancing career, family, and identity. I also worked as a school counselor, which shaped my insight into family dynamics, parenting, and emotional development. As a bicultural Mexican American therapist, fluent in Spanish, I offer culturally responsive care rooted in compassion and inclusion. My specialties include life transitions, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, and relationship dynamics. I use evidence-based practices like CBT, psychodynamic, and solution-focused therapy to support you in building insight, finding relief, and moving forward with clarity and confidence. Therapy with me is collaborative, empowering, and always centered on your goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a bicultural Mexican American woman, I value inclusivity, representation, and the importance of culturally responsive care. I believe therapy should be a space where all parts of your identity are welcomed and affirmed. I’m passionate about supporting women—especially those balancing multiple roles—through life’s transitions with compassion and understanding. I advocate for mental health awareness, reproductive justice, and menopause education, and I’m an active member of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America and The Menopause Society. I support causes that uplift women, Latinx communities, and access to equitable healthcare. My approach is rooted in curiosity, humility, and empowerment. I want clients to feel seen, heard, and supported—not just in their challenges but also in their strengths and resilience. Therapy with me is a partnership where your values, voice, and lived experiences lead the way.
