About My Clients
While I treat a wide range of concerns, I specialize in affirming care for neurodivergent individuals. I work with children, teens, and young adults on navigating a variety of stressors and challenges. My work centers on supporting self-expression, emotional regulation, and building confidence in everyday life. I'll help you to identify strengths and patterns you may not have noticed yet and develop practical strategies to fit your unique needs.
My Background and Approach
I take an inclusive, integrative approach to therapy. That might include cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based work, and expressive arts, depending on what fits best for you. Together, we can better understand how your brain works, build systems that actually stick, and quiet that inner critic—moving from a place of overwhelm toward something more steady, intentional, and aligned with who you are. My approach starts with building a trusting, collaborative relationship, grounded in the belief that you are the expert of your own experience. I truly value your insight and see you as a whole person, shaped by your lived experiences and the systems you move through every day.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I identify as liberal and am a strong advocate for social justice causes. I am committed to challenging inequality, promoting equity, and amplifying the voices of marginalized communities. Issues like racial justice, gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights, economic fairness, and access to education and healthcare are deeply important to me. I strive to understand systemic oppression and how privilege operates in society, and I aim to live in a way that reflects these values through both personal choices and community engagement. These values influence how I think about relationships, work, and the broader world. I strive to be aware of my own role in society, and I often reflect on how my beliefs shape my reactions, decisions, and interactions with others.
