About My Clients

If you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed in your sex life or relationships, you’re not alone. Many of my clients come in navigating challenges with sexual desire, communication, performance anxiety, or emotional and physical disconnection. I also specialize in working with individuals exploring LGBTQIA+ identity, ethical non-monogamy (ENM), polyamory, and sexual wellness, as well as those healing from religious trauma, purity culture, or shame related to sex and sexuality.

My Background and Approach

Whether you’re looking to deepen connection, explore your identity, or build a more satisfying and authentic sex life, I provide a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space to do that work. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William & Mary and a Master of Divinity from Duke University. My clinical work focuses on sex therapy, couples therapy, and relational healing, with experience supporting LGBTQIA+ clients, young adults, and individuals navigating sexual shame or identity exploration. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and sex-positive, integrating modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and narrative therapy. I also incorporate principles from attachment theory and somatic awareness to support deeper emotional and physical connection. My goal is to help clients feel more connected, to themselves, their partners, and their bodies, while building skills for communication, desire, and pleasure.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that sexuality, intimacy, and identity are essential parts of overall mental health, and everyone deserves a space to explore them without shame. I am especially passionate about supporting clients impacted by religious trauma, purity culture, and restrictive beliefs about sex and relationships. I affirm and support diverse relationship structures, including polyamory and ethical non-monogamy, and center my work around consent, communication, and authenticity. Therapy with me is collaborative, curious, and compassionate. I aim to help you unpack limiting narratives, reconnect with your values and desires, and build fulfilling, authentic relationships and a more satisfying sex life.
