About My Clients
Do you feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in patterns from your past, or unsure of who you are outside of what others expect from you? Maybe trauma, ADHD, OCD, relationship struggles, or life transitions have left you feeling exhausted or disconnected. I work with teens and adults who want to better understand themselves, heal from difficult experiences, and build healthier relationships. Together, we’ll create a safe, affirming space where you can feel seen, supported, and empowered.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor, I bring a trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy. I specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and overwhelming life transitions. I draw from evidence-based approaches including DBT, ACT, EMDR, mindfulness, somatic techniques, and person-centered therapy, tailoring treatment to you rather than expecting you to fit into one approach. Together, we can uncover patterns that may be keeping you stuck, process painful experiences, and develop practical skills you can use outside of therapy. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and culturally responsive, and I strive to create a space where all parts of you are welcome. My goal is not simply to help you cope, but to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and feel more confident navigating life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a teenager, I struggled with my own mental health and didn’t always have access to the resources or support I needed. That experience shaped my belief that everyone deserves access to a safe space where they can feel heard, understood, and supported. It is one of the reasons I’m passionate about making mental health resources more accessible and creating the kind of therapeutic space I wish more people had growing up. I value authenticity, compassion, curiosity, and human connection. I believe therapy should honor your culture, identity, relationships, and lived experiences. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, culturally responsive, and welcoming of diverse identities and relationship structures. I also believe therapy doesn’t always have to feel clinical or serious. There is room for humor, creativity, and being human. My role isn’t to tell you who to be, but to help you understand yourself, heal, grow, and create a life that feels authentic to you.
