About My Clients

The pace and intensity of life in New York City can be incredibly overwhelming for many individuals. As a high-achiever, the pressures of young adulthood may lead to feelings of worry and self-doubt. Perhaps you have noticed some dysfunctiontional patterns in your relationships (friendships, intimate, or familial), making it difficult for you to build deep, meaningful, and long lasting connections. What ever you are going through, you are not alone.

My Background and Approach

As a millennial, I understand first hand the demands of “adulting” and empathize with you. My name is Alex, and I am a therapist with a special interest in working with young adults confronting major life transitions, debilitating anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma experiences. My approach is strengths-based and rooted in person-in-environment theory. This means, I highlight my client's internal strengths, and consider how their environments (past and present) influence their behavior, to create a highly individualized therapy experience. My hope for you is that you leave therapy feeling more confident in your ability to make healthy and authentic decisions in your life, develop a deeper emotional understanding of yourself, and feel more connected to the people in your life. I look forward to our work together!

I offer online counseling in the following states:
