About My Clients
You feel disconnected, from yourself or your partner. Maybe there’s conflict, distance, or you’re just not feeling seen. For many of us, especially in LGBTQ+ relationships, it can be hard to feel safe and understood. I help couples and individuals slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and find their way back to real connection.
My Background and Approach
For over 10 years, I’ve helped individuals and couples move through disconnection, emotional overwhelm, and painful relationship patterns. I’m trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which helps partners feel safer with one another and reconnect in meaningful ways. I’m also trained in EMDR, which supports healing from trauma and stuck emotional responses. Whether you're feeling lost in your relationship or unsure how to trust yourself again, I offer a compassionate, collaborative space to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and start creating lasting change. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way and help you find clarity, confidence, and connection again—within yourself and with the people who matter most.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, accepted, and never asked to shrink who you are. I offer fat-positive, sex-positive, kink- and poly-affirming care, and I’m committed to creating an inclusive space for LGBTQ+ clients and those in nontraditional relationships. I value authenticity, curiosity, and the deep healing that can come from feeling truly understood. I believe that mental health is deeply connected to justice, equity, and the systems we live in. My lived experiences deeply inform my clinical work, alongside what I’ve learned from studying systems of oppression, including anti-fatness, anti-Blackness, ableism, and white supremacy. Outside the therapy room, I love sharing meals, connecting with people I care about, and finding joy in the small things (especially my dog).
