About My Clients
My typical clients seek a deep, internal journey—not quick fixes. They come ready to explore their stories, identities, and long‑standing patterns, often navigating complex trauma, multiple marginalized identities, or limiting beliefs they’re ready to shed. Using Narrative Therapy, ACT, and more, I help clients reflect deeply, expand their worldview, and build an empowered, values‑aligned life. Therapy with me is active, honeest, and liberatory—ideal for those ready to reflect, change, and grow.
My Background and Approach
In the therapeutic space, we will use a variety of methods to build mutual insight into your personal history, family legacy, and social location. You'll have the opportunity to examine your culture and learned identity. With that information, we will transform what may seem like inescapable generational curses into a bright new future. Working with me is a deep, reflective, and liberatory process. We challenge load-bearing beliefs that limit your ability to achieve self-actualization and push back on oppressive societal conditioning. You will expand your worldview by entering a therapeutic lyceum and uncovering your story under all other stories. Come to philosophize and dive in the unknowable fathoms. I'll be your guide.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a relational and systemic therapist who is personally of mixed race/ethnic heritage (African American and Puerto Rican), actively working on decolonization and reconnecting to indigenous cultural practices and healing methods. I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and have historically educated on and advocated for the rights of this community. I believe Black Lives Matter / Las Vidas Negras Importan. I think systemically, approach everyone intersectionally, and oppose ethnocentrism. I am open-minded yet think critically about the intersection of psychological and sociological matters. My studies of interest are as follows: complex trauma, minority stress, critical mixed race theory, white habitus, decolonization, and intersectionality. It is most important to me to uphold autonomy, authenticity, and honesty in all my relationships, especially in my work. As the Haudenosaunee and Siksika peoples believe, I honor community actualization and seven generations thinking.
