About My Clients
My clients often find themselves caught in a cycle of overperforming, overfunctioning, and left wondering when all of that effort will lead to a break. It’s a rigged game- society tells us to keep working, but the finish line always seem to be moving. Despite all of your hard work, you might be feeling anxious, unfulfilled, and depleted. You might be feeling frustrated and resentful- other people don’t seem to be as stressed, which doesn’t seem very fair at all. I promise I get it.
My Background and Approach
My therapy style is genuine, warm, and direct. I am fiercely dedicated to helping you find your direction in living a values-focused, fulfilling life, and promise we can have some fun along the way. I love finding humor in the absurdness in how unhelpful our minds can be! This has shown to be incredibly effective within a comfortable, supportive relationship. I’m not afraid to call you on your “stuff” and like to operate in the space where compassion meets accountability. Because, more than anything, I want to see you living the life you deserve.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a true believer in the mind-body connection, I incorporate nutrition and lifestyle-based recommendations into my practice, alongside evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and CBT. It is my belief that treating humans as whole entities rather than separate parts leads to lasting, sustainable change. There is no shortage of wellness/nutrition information out there, but it can be messy, conflicting, and sometimes just flat out wrong. I became Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition to ensure I am providing science-based, bioindividual recommendations when it comes to using nutrition to help you achieve mental wellness.
