About My Clients
My patients often come to therapy feeling stuck or untethered—emotionally, in relationships, or in their sense of self. They may carry the weight of early attachment wounds, trauma, or patterns that no longer serve them. They want to understand themselves more deeply, move through what’s been holding them back, and create lasting change. Often thoughtful and self-aware, they’re ready to look beneath the surface and make sense of their inner world in new way.
My Background and Approach
I help patients explore the roots of emotional pain, relational patterns, and identity struggles in a safe, depth-oriented space grounded in attachment theory. Many report feeling deeply understood quickly, and that we are able to get to the heart of the matter early—making every session count toward clarity, connection, and self-trust.If you’re feeling lost, overwhelmed, or like something important is missing, you’re not alone. Therapy offers a chance to slow down and feel more like yourself. A strong, trusting relationship is key—especially with sensitive issues like trauma—and if you’re ready to begin—or even just beginning to wonder—I’d be honored to walk with you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe strongly in social justice, equality, and honoring multicultural influences. I believe in providing quality education and training for the new generations of therapists. I have worked for many years in community mental health, including home visiting, in order to provide access and support to the most vulnerable populations. I love animals and include my two dogs, Olive and Billy, as my co-therapists.
