About My Clients
I have worked in various settings helping clients with a range of problems including anxiety, depression, going through life transitions, bipolar and other mood disorders, ADHD, PTSD, narcissistic abuse, substance use disorders, grief and loss, and personality disorders, etc.
My Background and Approach
I obtained my dual bachelors degree in Cognitive Science and Psychology from Oswego State University in New York State. I obtained my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at William James College in Boston Massachusetts. I have been a licensed professional counselor with a mental health service provider designation (LPC-MHSP) in Tennessee since September of 2021. I am also a LMHC in New York state since April of 2020. I would describe my approach as warm, empathetic, person centered, and solution focused. I will work with you to help you reach your goals and make positive changes in your life. I use an eclectic approach pulling techniques from many theories including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
