About My Clients
There are many reasons to start therapy but ultimately, we all want to feel better and live happier lives! At any point, we can all struggle with stress, anxiety, sadness or have a difficult time managing certain aspects of our lives. We can also feel stuck in patterns or behaviors that make it hard to live the life we want to live and it can feel overwhelming to figure out what to do next. My Background and Approach
My areas of expertise and special interest include anxiety, depression, self injury, parenting support, life transitions, women's issues, counseling for ADHD and providing LGBTQ+ affirming care. I focus working with children (10yrs and older), teens and adults. In sessions with clients, I strive to offer a safe and welcoming atmosphere with a dose of humor when needed. I believe that one of the most important aspects of therapy is providing clients a space to feel comfortable, challenged and supported at the same time. In session, I lean on evidence-based treatment including CBT and DBT.
