About My Clients
My typical client is a BIPOC, immigrant, and/or first-generation professional navigating the complex intersections of identity, intergenerational trauma, and the pressures of high-functioning white environments not designed with them in mind. They are resilient and insightful, often balancing multiple roles within their family, community, and workplace—caretaker, cultural bridge, provider, advocate—while quietly carrying the weight of personal and collective histories of trauma.
My Background and Approach
My clinical approach is rooted in trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care, with a strong foundation in EMDR therapy. I bring a warm, grounded, and collaborative presence to the therapeutic relationship, honoring each client’s unique story, strengths, and cultural context. My style is integrative—drawing from somatic practices, attachment theory, and mindfulness-based techniques to support deep healing and nervous system regulation. I prioritize safety, trust, and authenticity, creating a space where clients can explore painful experiences at their own pace and reconnect with their inner resilience. My goal is to supporting clients in moving from survival toward healing, clarity, and empowerment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Progress looks different for everyone but often includes deeper self-awareness, emotional resilience, and tools to navigate life’s challenges with confidence. Healing isn’t linear, but I’m here to support you every step of the way. My practice focuses on BIPOC individuals, first-gen professionals, millennials, and Gen Z navigating trauma, identity, and personal growth. I provide a culturally mindful space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered.
