About My Clients
My patients and clients are struggling with the stresses of daily life, transitions and upheavals, past wounds, and self image. We work through varying degrees of anxiety and depression, confronting issues such as family and generational cycles, past traumas, disordered eating, gender and/or sexual identity development and/or transition, relationships, careers, and parenthood. Through our explorations together, you can find better balance and direction in your life.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed psychotherapist and registered drama therapist using a combination of dialogue, roles, metaphors, and psychodramatic action. Together we will explore your unique path, experiences, and obstacles, to get you to your desired destination of life satisfaction. As a creative arts therapist, any creative expressions of your own are always welcome and can be integrated into the work.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My identities of cis-female woman, feminist, and mother inform my work. I consider myself a spiritual person, in connection with the Earth, and try to shape my daily practices accordingly, from yoga and meditation to recycling and composting.
