About My Clients
I am passionate about working with individuals and couples. I also have a heart for working with the military community and first responders, those who struggle with body image issues or disordered eating, couples who are looking to repair or improve their relationship, and individuals who are seeking to process their trauma experiences, improve boundary-setting, explore patterns of people pleasing, or who just need a space to verbally process. My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of WA. I offer adult individual, couple, and family/group sessions. My approach is non-pathologizing, strength-based, and client-centered. I am fully trained in EMDR therapy and heavily influenced by Emotionally-focused Therapy (EFT) and Solution-focused Therapy (SFT). When working with relationships, I am heavily influenced the the Gottman's research in my approach. My work history has allowed me to work with a wide range of clients- particularly first responders and veterans. I also have provided care for both in-patient and outpatient Eating Disorder Clinic. MFTs are specially trained to work with relationships and I have a passion for supporting couples through difficult times. I also have years of experience in treating depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, and cPTSD.
