About My Clients
Do you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or weighed down by past experiences. Maybe you feel stuck, disconnected, and unsure where to start but you know you're ready for things to feel different. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out right now. I’ll meet you right where you are, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. At the heart of my work is helping you feel more like you—more connected, more understood, and more at ease in your world.
My Background and Approach
You are the expert of your experiences. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and centered around you. I use a variety of different therapies to uniquely and creatively support each person I work with, because no two people are the same. I use EMDR, EFT, and attachment-based approaches to truly understand you—where you've come from, what it feels like to be you, and what's standing in your way—so we can gently release those barriers and help you move toward where you want to be. EMDR helps people process and heal from painful or overwhelming experiences that may still be affecting them today. Whether you have experienced trauma or find yourself stuck in certain patterns or emotions, EMDR can help people feel calmer, lighter, and more in control of their lives. At the heart of my work is helping you feel more like you—more connected, more understood, and more at ease in your world.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a queer Latina therapist, I believe healing happens when we can show up fully as ourselves—without judgment, shame, or the need to shrink who we are. My work is grounded in the belief that therapy should honor culture, identity, and lived experience. I affirm all bodies, all genders, and all expressions of self. I’m committed to decolonizing therapy, challenging systems that cause harm, and centering justice, equity, and compassion in the healing process. At the heart of my approach is a deep respect for the resilience and wisdom each person carries, and a belief that everyone deserves care, safety, and belonging.
