About My Clients
Life can feel overwhelming when trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, or major life transitions make it hard to move forward. Together, we uncover the patterns and core beliefs that strain you and build strategies for meaningful change so that you can feel more confident, calm, and joyfully engaged in your life. I want clients to feel free from unnecessary emotional pain, find purpose in their path, and be deeply connected to meaning in their lives, even when life brings pain and change.
My Background and Approach
I have my MSW from Smith College where I studied trauma-informed psychodynamic therapy. I often utilize EMDR to support healing from trauma and reprogramming painful core beliefs. I also offer somatic- and acceptance-based skills. My style is supportive but action-oriented — helping clients move from insight to real-life change. If you’re ready to heal through challenges and get grounded support on your journey, we may be a great fit. I offer sessions in person in Boulder or via secure telehealth throughout Colorado. If your heart is tugging at you to take the next step, reach out for a free consultation and we can begin moving forward together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that growth and healing are possible at any stage—it's just a matter of finding the right approach for that time. I believe that our minds/bodies are always doing the best they can with what we've learned (consciously and unconsciously) up until that time...which means healing negative core beliefs and emotional wounds in compassionate ways can change everything. Through my own deep dives into yoga therapy, contemplative psychology, and psychotherapy over the past 15 years, I've faced some of the real pain and real change that I find many clients are seeking support with these days. I also don't believe healing happens in a vacuum. Even as a fiery little kid, I was calling out injustice before I knew the word for it, and I continue to weave myself into community work for food systems, disability access, and caregiver support .
