About My Clients
Many of my clients are seeking to resolve past relational hurt or trauma, feel like an outsider, feel like something's missing in life, or desire more meaningful relationships. I hope to see my clients end therapy feeling like an active participant in their life who is connected to themself and others. I especially enjoy working with neurodivergent clients and those navigating complex trauma.
My Background and Approach
My approach is relational, client centered, and trauma-informed. I integrate psychodynamic tradition, parts work, and EMDR techniques to support deep healing. I show up with authenticity, collaboration, curiosity, and a deep respect for your inner world. My personal background and education in counseling shapes how I understand identity, emotion, and creativity. Before becoming a therapist, I earned a B.A. in Music and have experience working in diverse professional environments. My experience in grad school encouraged and empowered me to see clients are whole people, not just their “symptoms.” I continue to value nuance, complexity, and meaning in the work we’ll do together. Outside of sessions, you’ll probably find me creating with fiber arts, playing cozy video games, or spending time with my people.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is collaborative unfolding and a relational experience, not a fix-it project. You can expect warmth, honesty, and humor in our sessions, along with space to reflect, reconnect, and reimagine. I believe in messy growth, honesty, and the sacredness of becoming. Whether you process through metaphor, movement, silence, or story, I’ll meet you there. My therapy room welcomes people across the spectrums of gender, orientation, ethnicity, spirituality, and neurodivergence.
