About My Clients

You may be the one everyone depends on, yet inside you feel anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected. Or maybe you're watching your child struggle with big emotions, behavior changes, or anxiety and aren't sure how to help. I work with children (3+), teens, adults, couples, and families healing from trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, and life transitions. Together, we'll help you move from surviving to truly living.

My Background and Approach

I provide trauma-informed therapy for children (ages 3+), teens, adults, couples, and families under clinical supervision. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to heal. My clinical experience includes providing therapy in elementary schools, residential treatment, and intensive outpatient mental health settings. I've supported children navigating anxiety, emotional regulation, and family transitions, as well as teens and adults facing trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction recovery, grief, and relationship challenges. These experiences have reinforced my belief that healing happens through connection, compassion, and evidence-based care. I tailor therapy to each client's unique needs using approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), play therapy, expressive arts, and family systems therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should be a space where people feel safe, heard, and accepted without judgment. My goal is to create an environment where clients can show up as they are while we work together toward healing and growth. As a therapist, I value authenticity, curiosity, and compassion. I recognize that every person's story is shaped by their relationships, culture, and life experiences, and I strive to provide care that is culturally responsive and affirming. I am committed to creating an inclusive space for individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds and identities. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy staying connected to my community through mental health education and outreach, providing presentations for schools, parents, and community organizations. I believe that increasing awareness and reducing stigma around mental health can help people seek support sooner and build healthier relationships.
