About My Clients
I work with adolescents and adults together and separately. In addition I also work with transgender individuals. I offer nonjudgmental guidance and support to people from all backgrounds through individual, couples, and family counseling.
My Background and Approach
I strive to create a warm, empathetic, understanding and, most importantly, collaborative environment. Working together, we will tackle life’s challenges—whether they may be problems of anxiety, self-esteem, or unhealthy patterns of behavior. My background is in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and my hope is to help you live a more meaningful life. ACT is a safe, evidenced-based approach that helps one live in the moment and move toward more valued behaviors. By learning how to handle unwanted thoughts, feelings, and urges more effectively, you can overcome even your most difficult problems, building a more satisfying life.
