My Background and Approach
I specialize in treating anxiety, OCD, phobias, eating disorders and life transitions. My background is in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and my hope is to help you live a more meaningful life. ACT is a safe, evidenced-based approach that helps one live in the moment and move toward more valued behaviors. By learning how to handle unwanted thoughts, feelings, and urges more effectively, you can overcome even your most difficult problems, building a more satisfying life. I work with teens and adults who are located in Tennessee. In addition, I also work with transgender individuals.
