About My Clients
My clinical work focuses on guiding clients through healing from complex childhood histories, complicated grief/loss and sexual and religious trauma. Other areas of focus often include stress-management, navigating relationships, improving self-esteem , sexuality or gender issues, complex family dynamics and mood disorders.
My Background and Approach
I am experiential and collaborative in my approach and adapt therapy to individual goals and needs. I often help clients learn about and connect with their nervous systems, as trauma is often held in the body. Some clients benefit from incorporating modalities such as Sandtray, EMDR, Internal Family Systems/Parts Work and ETT in our work together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Healing looks different for everyone. I may be a good fit for someone who is okay with gentle challenging, as I believe this important part of the clinical work helps clients reach their goals and live more fulfilling lives.
