About My Clients
I specialize in working with college-aged individuals and young adults on navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationships, depression, and self-esteem. My job is to meet you exactly where you’re at; together we will collaborate to determine where that is and how this space can best fit you. I look forward to walking alongside you to provide support and empowerment every step of the way!
My Background and Approach
I have worked in the field of mental health since 2016 providing individual and school-based counseling services as well as crisis intervention while working in community mental health, running intensive outpatient groups, and working in private practice. My treatment approach is strength-based, person-centered, compassionate, empowering, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I have a passion for implementing trauma-informed care and striving to create a safe and open environment in which people feel comfortable to be themselves. While I utilize an individualized approach to tailor treatment to the client’s needs, commonly used modalities may include, but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
No matter who you are, where you come from, or how you’re doing in this moment, I believe every person can benefit from having a safe space where they can be unapologetically themselves and receive unconditional support. In a world of constant pressure and comparison, everyone should have someone in their corner, and it would be a privilege to be in yours.
