About My Clients
My approach seeks to uphold the psychological balance and integration of adults and teenagers navigating the infinite experiences of existence. I enjoy working with individuals who are facing obstacles related to disability, life transitions, substance use concerns, spirituality, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, and nontraditional relationships. Together, we will focus on what matters most to you, and how to find joy in the creative process of your unique lived experience.
My Background and Approach
I spent a decade in STEM prior to receiving my MS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling program. My lived experience with disability and existential exploration has informed my clinical experience, which draws from ACT, CBT, DBT, trauma-informed, and integrative methods. The combination of my training and life experiences allows me to provide you with both support and solutions from a humanistic and person-centered approach.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that you are inherently whole and deserve to live a life of integrity, on your own terms. As an individual with a disability, I understand how difficult it can be to navigate a world that is not always accommodating, and I am here to support you through your unique journey.
