About My Clients
As a therapist, I work with people who are processing all types of grief, including the loss of loved ones to both death and estrangement, as well as those going through transitions, feeling misunderstood or disconnected in their interpersonal relationships, experiencing anxiety and/or depression, or seeking to more deeply explore their identities.
My Background and Approach
I hold an Ed.M. in Counseling Psychology and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University. Outside of private practice, I have experience with community mental health and college counseling. My approach is warm and collaborative, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, CBT, feminist therapy, and mindfulness. I believe that you hold more answers than you think you do. Together, we can quiet the noise, go deep, and truly listen to the wise voice within you. I am honored to walk alongside you on your journey inward and offer you tools to carry with you on your way forward. If you feel we might align, please reach out.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I welcome all people to my practice, including those belonging to BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. My graduate psychology training was firmly rooted in an anti-racist lens, which I maintain a lifelong commitment to learning and actualizing.
