About My Clients
My Clients come to me curious about better understanding themselves and their mental health battles. They often feel disconnected from their lives and feel like they are "surviving" rather than "thriving." Clients can expect to do the uncomfortable work they need to create new opportunities to overcome the struggles they experience day-to-day.
My Background and Approach
I believe in working with my clients to create a place of healing, growth and perspective. I emphasize building a good relationship with my clients, and like to focus on their perspective. I work with my clients to help them recognize unhelpful thinking and emotional patterns and instead help them connect more with their own values. I help clients find inner safety and develop goals that they can use to pursue the peace and joy they seek.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
C.S. Lewis said: " You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending." I believe that those I work with can change their lives and find new meaning and purpose. I love working with clients and helping them develop the skills they need to feel empowered and continue to move forward in life. I use a person-centered approach, to help me understand your perspective and experiences with your mental health concerns. I also like to use treatments such as Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Cognitive therapies, DBT, and EMDR to help those I work with instill hope into their lives, and work through the difficulties of life.
