My Background and Approach
In our sessions, you'll feel not just heard, but truly understood. I have a gentle yet no-nonsense approach, and believe in the power of humor and honesty. As a therapist, I specialize in working through issues around anxiety, relationship, and past trauma, using a blend of evidence-based modalities including EMDR, IFS, ACT, CBT, and mindfulness. I have experience working with people who have experienced sexual abuse, religious trauma, life transitions, social anxiety, low self-esteem, social anxiety, older adult and caregiver issues, and creating healthier relationships, improving communication and setting appropriate boundaries.
