I help adults who struggle with self-esteem learn to thrive by addressing issues of childhood trauma and neglect. Low self-esteem can impact you in many ways from anxiety, depression, self-criticism, and poor relationships. It can also come up in minor ways such as constant comparison, fear of taking risks, and poor self-care. I also provide I also specialize in helping those what want integration of spirituality into their mental health.
My Background and Approach
I draw from a variety of approaches but I believe in working closely with my clients to coming up with goal and tailoring therapy to my individual clients. I am also trained in Brainspotting to help treat trauma. Most importantly, I provide a safe space for my clients to process feelings, and learn to accept themselves.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Through my own counseling process, I have understood how mental health has set me up for success as a therapist and as an individual. My hope is for my clients to experience the same strength and hope that can come from therapy. I believe that my client's authentic self has value and that my clients have the strength to grow and achieve their goals.
