About My Clients

I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, or the lingering effects of past experiences. Many have made progress in therapy before but still feel something unresolved beneath the surface. I meet clients where they are, combining EMDR with integrative tools to help reduce distress, strengthen coping, and restore a sense of calm, connection, and self-trust. Together, we create space for growth that feels grounded, compassionate, and achievable.

My Background and Approach

I earned my Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and my undergraduate degree in English from Penn State University. I began my career at Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center, working with individuals facing a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. I now practice at Courage to Connect Mental Health Center, where I specialize in trauma-informed care. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based methods. I integrate EMDR, CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to create a personalized experience that fits each client’s goals. I believe that therapy works best when it’s a partnership—one that balances reflection with practical tools for change. My focus is always on helping clients build resilience, find clarity, and create meaningful, lasting growth.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should feel like a space where curiosity, compassion, and authenticity can thrive. My work is guided by values of empathy, inclusivity, and respect for each person’s lived experience. I’m committed to creating a space that welcomes people of all identities, backgrounds, and belief systems. Social justice, accessibility, and mental health advocacy are central to my professional values. I approach therapy from a lens that honors both the science of the brain and the art of human connection. I believe healing happens when we feel seen, supported, and safe enough to explore our inner world. Outside of work, I value creativity, community, and time in nature, moments that help restore perspective and balance. These same values shape my approach in the therapy room, where presence and genuine care guide every session.
