About My Clients
I provide psychiatric care to adolescents and adults with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, and eating disorders. My patients come from many different backgrounds and stages of life, each with their own experiences and goals for treatment. I welcome individuals who are new to psychiatric care as well as those who have been in treatment before and are looking for a fresh perspective.
My Background and Approach
I’m a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a background that spans several areas of healthcare. I’ve worked across various levels of care, including inpatient critical care, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient telehealth. My experience in both medical and psychiatric settings has shaped how I care for patients today. I provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adolescents and adults, while also incorporating psychotherapy when appropriate. I have additional training in CBT and DBT and enjoy being able to bring different parts of my background into the work I do. I believe psychiatric care can be both clinically thorough and personal. I want my patients to feel known over time, comfortable asking questions, and involved in the decisions we make about their care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I know how meaningful it can be to find healthcare where you feel understood and represented. Providing inclusive and affirming care is something I value deeply, and I’m proud to work with people across different identities, backgrounds, and experiences. Outside of work, I love traveling, staying active, spending time with friends and family, and coming home to my cat, Venus. I value kindness, curiosity, humor, and keeping an open mind. These are things that are important to me personally and naturally carry into the way I connect with others.
