About My Clients

While specializing with a particular population can have value, I have chosen to keep my practice open to anyone who feels inclined to work with me. I value the unique expression of life that each person is, and want to help you become who you truly are.

My Background and Approach

As we move through life, we collect wounds that are often never given the attention they need to properly heal. These wounding experiences influence the way we relate to ourselves and the world, and we often become stuck in distressing feelings and behavioral patterns that don’t serve us well. In therapy, we cultivate awareness, and open to parts of our experience that we have pushed away. While this can be challenging, we eventually open our hearts enough to fully allow these feelings in. When this occurs, healing and transformation can finally take place. The support and guidance of someone who has experience on this path is invaluable. As a therapist, I help you learn to respect and honor the coping strategies that helped you survive, while growing the capacity to open to the parts of you that you have had to push away. In bringing these parts home to yourself, you can find greater harmony within and without.
