I utilize an eclectic and collaborative approach, empowering each individual I work with as the expert of their life. My clinical experience began when I was working in various mental health and substance use programs. I have worked in high acuity mental health and addiction in both inpatient and outpatient settings, assessing clients emotional, physical and spiritual needs and providing support as appropriate. I have worked as both a group facilitator and primary therapist in numerous facilities prior to my opening my own practice. It was important to me to be able to offer unique and effective forms of counseling once working for myself. I was seeking to provide the therapy I could not find in times when I needed it. I utilize a mind/body modality called Neuro Emotional Technique (NET). NET allows us to identify the blocks and patterns of the subconscious mind & how it is affecting your life now as well as reducing the intensity and frequency of those emotions/memories.

I believe everyone has the capacity to change the way they live their life. I believe we can change and grow every day if we just take the first step. If we are committed to it. I am strongly devoted to deepening the relationship you have with yourself as the framework to all of the relationships in life that you will hold. My clinical work relies heavily on the trust and connection between myself and my client. I understand forming a connection where you feel safe is so integral to begin healing. And to be a part of someone else's journey- is a privilege. I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and this informs me professionally and allows me to further serve those who come to my practice for support.
