My Background and Approach
With a BA in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and an MS in Counseling from Southern Methodist University (2012), I have expertise in working with adolescents and adults. Approach: My evidence-based modalities include CBT, DBT, and trauma-focused therapies. For adolescents, I create a safe space to explore emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Using CBT, we challenge negative thinking and build resilience. With adults, I address life transitions, relationships, and trauma through a collaborative and non-judgmental approach. Incorporating DBT, I enhance emotional regulation, communication, and coping skills. Tailoring therapy to individual needs, I empower clients to find relief, growth, and positive change.
