About My Clients

I work with young adults who look like they have it all together, but on the inside, they're overthinking everything, second guessing themselves, and googling "how to stop spiraling" at 2am. My clients are smart, sensitive, and often the go to person for others. However when it comes to their own needs they're not even sure where to start. Whether they're dealing with anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, or breaking generational patterns...they're my people.

My Background and Approach

My background is rooted in trauma work as I began my career working in child advocacy centers serving youth survivors of human trafficking as well as conducting child forensic interviews. This experience has deeply shaped my understanding of resilience, safety, and the power of being seen and heard. I use a trauma informed approach in all aspects of my work. I am a relational therapist who believes that healing happens in safe, authentic connection. I bring both clinical skill and genuine humanity into the space. I am not the kind of therapist who nods and stays silent (although sometimes necessary). I show up fully, and yes, I believe that a well-timed laugh can be just as healing as a breakthrough. I incorporate both CBT and parts work with my clients, depending on their needs. I am also trained in PSR-for sexual health, which is a trauma informed approach to sexual health.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to social justice and the unwavering belief in the inherent dignity and worth of every person. As a social worker who stands firm in my code of ethics, I know that healing doesn't happen in a vacuum. It is shaped by our identities, lived experiences, and the systems we move through. I recognize the impact systemic oppression and trauma has on a person, while also honoring their strength, agency, and desire for change. My practice is rooted in equity. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and support ALL human rights!
