My Background and Approach
I am passionate about working with individuals with PTSD/trauma, anxiety-related disorders, depression and mood disorders, OCD, ADHD, grief, interpersonal conflict, and relationship difficulties. I have trained in the VA Healthcare System, a rape crisis center, tribal defender's office, a jail and detention facility, university counseling centers, and group practice. I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative alliance that will help us to explore and create a meaningful life worth living. Your life experiences, relationships, beliefs, and values have made you uniquely you, and I believe in drawing on your existing strengths to overcome internal and external obstacles. I will provide tools, skills, feedback, and support to help you on this journey. Through this approach, I hope to create a safe and supportive space for you to gain confidence and work toward your goals.
