About My Clients
You might notice that old patterns, relationships, or emotional reactions keep showing up despite your best efforts to change them. I work with individuals who want to explore these experiences with curiosity and compassion, while also developing practical tools for everyday life. Clients often seek support for anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, and navigating life’s changes.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. My training includes work with adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and life transitions in community mental health and outpatient settings. My approach is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, and Person-Centered therapies. This allows me to help clients gain insight into long-standing patterns while also building practical tools they can use in daily life. I prioritize creating a supportive, collaborative relationship where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to move at their own pace. I believe therapy works best when it is both reflective and practical. I tailor treatment to each individual’s needs, strengths, and goals, helping clients develop greater self-understanding, emotional awareness, and meaningful change over time.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where people feel safe to show up as they are, without fear of judgment or pressure to fit a certain mold. I value authenticity, compassion, curiosity, and respect, and I strive to bring these principles into every therapeutic relationship. I am committed to providing an inclusive, LGBTQ+ affirming space where individuals of diverse identities, backgrounds, and life experiences feel seen and supported. I recognize the impact that culture, relationships, and systemic factors can have on mental health, and I approach therapy with sensitivity to these influences. At the core of my work is a belief in each person’s capacity for growth, self-understanding, and meaningful change. I view therapy as a collaborative process, grounded in trust, honesty, and a shared commitment to moving forward in ways that feel aligned and sustainable. I offer a free initial consultation so we can explore fit and answer questions — feel free to reach out.
