About My Clients
I work with individuals, families, couples, and polycules/non-traditional relational structures of all kinds. In my relational work, I have completed Gottman Couple’s Therapy training and utilize Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) approaches. I am also experienced working with queer, trans, neurodivergent, and chronically ill/disabled folks.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist and as a person, I take the implications of the social, political, and cultural contexts in which we live seriously. My clinical orientation is grounded in liberatory, feminist, and anti-racist practices. I have extensive experience working with complex trauma and PTSD as well as folks with traditionally marginalized identities. A guiding theme in much of this work is attuning to grief– whether that be ambiguous loss, disenfranchised grief, or intergenerational trauma and loss. My clinical work is systemic and relational in nature, and based in Narrative Therapy, IFS, DBT, and attachment theory. I really value using Somatic interventions in my work– creating safe attunement through mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and Brainspotting.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
When I’m not in the office, I am reading, spending time with my community, or biking outside in the sunshine. I have been recently exploring working with stained glass and love to learn new things. Nothing brings me more joy than cooking (usually Italian food) for my loved ones.
