About My Clients
I have a passion for helping individuals explore where they feel overwhelmed, pained or confused to heal both individually and relationally. I specialize in recovery in the domains of trauma, abuse/neglect, shame, self-esteem, burnout, codependency, and childhood wounding. I also particularly enjoy supporting those who identify as highly sensitive (HSP), anxious, self-critical, perfectionistic, pleasing, and over-thinking find more ease and confidence in their bodies and in their lives.
My Background and Approach
As an trauma therapist, I bring specialized training that goes beyond traditional talk therapy. Trauma work requires a deep understanding of the nervous system, memory, and protective adaptations—skills that allow me to gently help clients access and process experiences that talking alone often can’t reach. I have advanced training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP), EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Lifespan Integration (LI) and Polyvagal Theory. I was also trained as a systemic therapist, which means I view challenges not just in isolation, but within the broader web of relationships, patterns, and dynamics that shape our lives. This foundation allows me to help couples and individuals untangle stuck relational cycles, recognize the influence of family and cultural systems, and build more intentional, connected ways of relating. It’s not just about solving problems—it's about understanding the bigger picture and creating lasting, meaningful change.
