About My Clients
Do you feel overwhelmed by the demands of modern life—navigating career changes, relationships, or personal growth while striving to maintain balance? Do you experience burnout, stress, or anxiety as you try to keep up with expectations and milestones? My clients often seek not only motivation and direction in pursuing their goals but also a deeper understanding of how to care for themselves in a world that rarely slows down. I'd be honored to support you in finding a more balanced way of life.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Chicago School in Los Angeles. I am also a registered 200-hour Yoga and Meditation Teacher, as well as a Certified Professional Life Coach. I use somatic therapy to help clients understand how their nervous system responds to stress. In over 10 years of mindfulness and yoga experience, I've come to learn that much of our stress and anxiety towards life begins in the body. There is tremendous power in understanding how we are wired to respond to life, leaning on potent somatic practices to re-establish that connection with the wisdom of our body. In our first session, we'll explore how past experiences shaped current patterns of regulation. Using body-based practices and somatic awareness, we will learn to reduce anxiety, build resilience, and respond to stress with greater ease and choice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I love working with individuals, families, and children from a systemic lens—exploring how relationships, communication, and family patterns influence emotional well-being. My approach integrates mindfulness-based practices, somatic tools, and practical psychoeducation to help clients build insight and develop new ways of relating to themselves and others. Through my own yoga teaching and personal practice, I saw, singlehandedly, how impactful it is to work with the body - to viscerally see the impact of trauma and tension in the way we move, in the way our body tries to hold the weight of it all. It is both fascinating and heartbreaking, because it shows us the innocence of a body that we often neglect and ignore. What began my journey in Yoga continues to this day, as I integrate more nervous system regulation knowlege into work with clients. The mind-body connection is not optional - it is integral.
