About My Clients
Do you struggle with a specific area of life, like work, relationships, or health? Or, do you not feel complete or content despite things in life being "just fine?" I hope to help you explore where your struggles are coming from, to decrease the symptoms you're experiencing, and mostly, to improve your quality of life. I specialize in working with adults and older adults struggling with depression, anxiety/trauma, life transitions, family or work stressors, chronic pain/illness, and grief/loss.
My Background and Approach
My approach to psychotherapy is empathic, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I am interested in your unique experiences and goals, and I will work with you to establish a treatment plan that fits you. It is my goal to help you explore the problems affecting your life currently and to address them, in order to improve your overall quality of life and reduce distress. I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY27597) and I earned my Master’s and PhD from Pacific Graduate School of Psychology (PGSP; now known as Palo Alto University). My clinical and research experience has been very diverse. I have worked at Stanford University, the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, Kaiser Permanente, and other mental health clinics. My specialties have included geropsychology and chronic pain/chronic illness.
