About My Clients
I work with adolescents and adults navigating substance use disorders, trauma, mental health conditions, and adjustment difficulties. Many of my clients are facing complex challenges, including crisis situations or major life transitions. I provide practical, structured support to help individuals stabilize, build coping skills, and move toward recovery and long-term wellbeing. Services are available in both English and Spanish.
My Background and Approach
I am a bilingual Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts, fluent in English and Spanish. I earned my Master of Science in Counselling Psychology from Carlos Albizu University and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. My clinical experience includes psychiatric hospitals, medication-assisted treatment centers, and legal settings. I am trained in crisis intervention, overdose prevention planning, Narcan administration, and education related to opioid use, HIV, and other sexually transmitted infections. My approach combines structured, skills-based interventions with culturally responsive care. I focus on equipping clients with practical tools to improve emotional regulation, strengthen decision-making, and build resilience in high-stress situations.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling understood and supported, especially during times of crisis or instability. Recovery and healing are possible when individuals are provided with the right tools, education, and encouragement. I strive to create a direct, respectful, and collaborative space where clients feel empowered to take steps toward stability and growth. As a proud native of Puerto Rico, I value culturally responsive care and the importance of honoring each person’s background and lived experience. If you are ready to work toward recovery, emotional stability, or greater clarity, I would be glad to support you.
