About My Clients
Clients who work well with me are typically First-Gen Latinas, Latinas in the workplace, and/or BIPOC women in general! My clients connect well with humor, some Spanglish and a direct but compassionate approach. In my therapy room, I take pride in making sure you feel comfortable so that we can get uncomfortable together, at whatever pace works for you!
My Background and Approach
My approach in therapy is systemic and collaborative. We will explore your background, upbringing and experiences that make you who you are today. Together we will turn insight into actionable change, whatever that looks like for YOU. I bring a direct approach in therapy, filled with compassion so you don't feel alone in this process. Starting therapy altogether can be a difficult process and my goal is to make it accessible.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a therapist because I grew so much from my own therapy work. I'm a first-gen Latina navigating spaces that were not originally designed for people like me. I believe in being authentic and sometimes this means having conversations that are uncomfortable, but necessary for growth. Even if we don't end up working together, I am glad you are seeking therapy.
