About My Clients
Do you feel different parts of yourself are fighting and pulling you in opposite directions? I support individuals navigating young adulthood, immigration-related experiences, identity exploration, and the lifelong process of self-discovery. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready to understand yourself more deeply, therapy can be a meaningful place to start having a dialogue between the "different shades of you."
My Background and Approach
During our work together, we will weave IFS (Internal Family Systems) concepts such as 'parts' and 'Self' into a broader depth psychology framework. Thus, helping you recognize and shift long-standing relational dynamics, self-destructive patterns, and develop a more integrated way of being. Our work together is collaborative, nuanced, and paced to allow for lasting change rather than temporary relief. We will work to develop greater clarity, emotional steadiness, and self-trust, along with the freedom to live more deliberately and authentically. I operate on a private-pay model to: 1. To protect your privacy and confidentiality. 2. To give you the best therapeutic approach rather than insurance deciding your treatment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a lover of philosophy and a first-generation immigrant, and these parts of my identity shape the way I show up as a therapist. I bring a holistic, culturally informed perspective to understanding the full spectrum of the human experience. My background helps me attune to the ways culture, identity, emotions, and personal history intersect—shaping how we think, behave, and move through the world. I draw from my education, clinical training, and lived experience to help you make sense of your story and move toward meaningful, lasting change. I make it a point to advocate for human rights. This includes immigrants, people of all sizes, religions, races, abilities, and LGBTQ communities +. Additionally, I believe a diagnosis can be a self-fulfilling prophecy filled with stigma.
